Sales & Leases
Gigi
SOLD
2011 13.0hh Red Roan POA Mare
Gigi is a very petite 2011 POA mare standing 13.0hh. She might the the cutest pony that we have ever seen! She has plenty of western miles on her and has just started her English career. She is very smart, willing, and easy to handle and ride. She is currently in professional training but is also being ridden by a 7-year-old. With more training she will kill it as a hunter, but is good out of the arena, so will be fun for a smaller rider to hit the trails and even go over any jumps that come across your path. This girl is a true gem!
Blue Zoom
SOLD
2015 15.2hh Grey Quarter Horse Gelding
Blue Zoom is a lovable, sweet 6-year-old gelding looking to become someone’s perfect partner. He is experienced and adjustable on the flat, and although he has just started jumping, he is straightforward enough for an amateur rider. He has nice gaits for English disciplines and a super cute jump! He is consistently doing 2-foot courses with a teen rider in addition to his continued training rides. He has been ridden in and outside of the arena and has been exposed to cows and even buffalo. He’s great around kids and dogs and has no vices.
Columbia Rivr Rose
SOLD
2013 16.1hh Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare
Rivr is just oozing with potential. She has the ability to move up through the levels with the right partner. Rivr is very honest with no buck or bolt and practically zero refusals her whole jumping life. She is forward and needs confidence but will go far with the right rider who is balanced and patient. Very laid back and easy on trails, no vices, loads, ties, stands for farrier and vet, easy keeper, and only front shoes. Sound, no limitations!
Pink Chablis
SOLD
2013 16.0hh Bay Thoroughbred Mare
Pinky is one of the sweetest horses we have on the farm. She is personable and incredibly easy to handle. She has a gorgeous natural hunter movement and a temperament to match. She was race trained but never raced. She is back at the knee so may not hold up to high impact work like higher-level Eventing, However, she is sound and doing well in regular work. She has great feet, is an easy keeper, and requires no maintenance. She is sensitive and willing under saddle, is not overly forward, and goes well in a light contact.
Olivia the Star
SOLD
2012 16.0hh Dark Bay Thoroughbred Mare
Livie is all the things you want in an Eventer. She is smart, well-built, forward, and bold! After having two years to hang out in a pasture after she retired from racing (not for any soundness reasons, but so she could simply enjoy being a horse) she has just started back to work. She has no limitations and is showing all the signs that she will be a great sport horse. She will do best with an experienced rider, as she is both forward and sensitive. She has never offered a buck, rear, or bolt, but she is also confident and already thinks she knows how this whole riding thing goes. She will make an outstanding partner to a rider who is patient and confident. She is sound with no limitations, no maintenance, easy keeper, front shoes only.
Chip
SOLD
2018 Palomino Canadian Sport Horse Filly
It has been fun watching this youngster come out of her shell after traveling from Canada. She was bred to event and is fancy! She has transitioned from a scared baby to an inquisitive, personable filly. We can’t wait to see what this one looks like when she matures.
Mr. Frosty
SOLD
2015 17.0hh Grey Thoroughbred Gelding
Frosty is one of those horses that has that “Wow” factor. In addition to his gorgeous conformation, coloring, and presence, he simply floats over the ground. His sire, Grand Minstrel, is known for making smart and talented sporthorses, and Frosty is no exception. He is inquisitive, incredibly personable and loves trying to figure out new challenges. He has not shied away from anything that has been presented to him. This one is destined for the upper levels. We’d love to see him as an Eventer, as he has the brains, body, and natural talent, but he could excel in almost any discipline at this point. He has been vetted and has no limitations! He was featured in RRP’s Virtual Makeover Master Class filmed at Super G.
Charisma
SOLD
2009 16.2hh Bay Andalusian/Thoroughbred Mare
Rizzi is a stunning girl with the thick build of an Andalusian and a little extra Thoroughbred athleticism added in. She is adding to her dressage foundation by starting over fences. She shows great aptitude for jumping and is progressing quite quickly. In her first month, she is already maneuvering over 2’3″ courses and balancing enough to show some flying changes. She has three solid gaits and that to-die-for Andalusian canter. Rizzi is straightforward enough for an intermediate rider with a trainer. Has been ridden in and out of the arena. She has had one beautiful foal with no complications. Currently barefoot, sound, no limitations, no maintenance. I would love to see this girl brought along to be an eventer, but she would fit beautifully in a purely dressage home as well.
Carrera
LEASED
2007 16.2hh Black Dutch Warmblood Mare
Carrera is a true head-turner. This impressively bred mare (Jazz/Florencio) has the moves to back up her bloodlines. She has competed in A Hunters and could easily be competitive in dressage and jumpers. She is currently being used for intermediate dressage and jumping lessons.
Habanero
SOLD
2013 16.0hh Bay Thoroughbred Gelding
Do not let your eyes deceive you! Habe is a Thoroughbred, even though he looks and acts like a Quarter Horse. Ashley had the pleasure of training Habe back in 2016 when he retired from his short racing career and came into the CANTER program. Ashley placed him in a wonderful home, but unfortunately last year, his owner had an accident and can no longer regularly ride. Habe hauled over to Super G, unloaded, stood tied, then walked off calmly like he’d been there a million times (that was his first time). He happily rode around a new arena and pasture along the road with no issues. He has only been ridden walk/trot recently, so did impressively well cantering in our arena. He continues to improve with each ride! He will fit wonderfully in a home that does English or Western and is great riding in new environments. Such a calm and fun boy! He will be great as a pleasure mount, trail horse, or even western dressage! Sound, barefoot, current on vaccines.
Our Celestial Comet
SOLD
2015 15.2hh Appaloosa Gelding
Comet is a true gem! He is a very straightforward ride with a steady rhythm. He has a natural hunter movement, but is very easy to make adjustments to be able to hold his own in dressage. He is more of a kick ride, but is very bold on XC. He can take a joke and will take care of a nervous rider. Comet is a perfect horse for someone just learning the ropes with aspirations to move up as well.
Mr Wild Kitty
ADOPTED
2011 15.3hh Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding
A Thoroughbred with a great brain will take you anywhere! Mr Wild Kitty retired sound after a 48-race career and was donated to CANTER USA to be retrained. His unflappable and eager demeanor screams eventing prospect. He has rhythmic gaits. He jumped his first crossrail in his first ride off the track, and negotiated XC jumps in his third. As a son of sire Kitten’s Joy, he comes from impressive bloodlines for both racehorses and sporthorses. Learn more about Mr Wild Kitty’s journey and CANTER USA in this video.
